After our acquisition, we fully dedicate ourselves to operating the business, including relocating to company headquarters.

  • Administering an initial business review that includes a market analysis, financial performance review, and potential future growth opportunities.

  • Establishing mutual trust with the current owners through discussions about the existing strategy and an exploration of new ideas. We also utilize these discussions to ensure cultural alignment. 

  • Performing in-depth financial, legal, and operational due diligence. We utilize a "trust but verify" approach, which we perform with discretion and efficiency.

  • Partnering with current owners to close the transaction and ensure a smooth transition that focuses on employee and customer retention.

Product-led companies with B2B distribution. 


FINANCIAL:

EBITDA between $2MM and $10MM, five years of operating history, and recurring cash flows from repeat customers.


MANAGEMENT:

A "clan" culture with low employee turnover and customer churn. We believe that happy employees yield happy customers.

ABOUT OUR LEADERSHIP

Sarim M. Khan is an energetic and compassionate leader with over fifteen years of experience in the financial services and financial services technology (FinTech) industries, and is the Founder and President of Tezza Ventures.

Prior to forming Tezza, Sarim led product strategy and product management at an alternative financial services provider. In this role, Sarim spearheaded digital transformation efforts and new product innovation with end-to-end responsibility from vision to market deployment.

Sarim has also led technology product sales and implementations at Primatics Financial (acquired by SS&C Technologies; SSNC), a provider of SaaS-based technology and consulting services to the finance and credit functions at banks. During this time, Sarim led sales activities and served as executive sponsor on delivery and consulting projects to strategically important clients, including PNC Financial Services, TCF Financial Services, and U.S. Bank. Annual revenues increased from $10MM to $55MM under his executive leadership at Primatics Financial.

Sarim holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

In addition to his executive career, Sarim is involved in hunger relief charities and adult literacy programs in Chicago and is engaged in the Boston and Chicago entrepreneurship ecosystem, including serving as a founding member of the executive entrepreneur’s club at MIT Sloan.
